I hope everyone in my warlockery cohort saw the post on WoW.com yesterday [Edit: I know the article was written and posted on 8/10.  I read it late and posted late figuring most of you would see this on Tuesday]… they are looking for a new Blood Pact columinst.

I can think of a few warlock bloggers that would be great for the job.  Me? Eh, not so much.  I mean, I'd love to do it… but honestly, how much actual warlock stuff have I posted? Not a whole lot.  I generally aim to entertain.  Plus, I might be too casual (although I can look stuff up :P) to bring enough substance to that column.

Good luck to those that apply and…. I have to think about it some more.

  • I think you should absolutely go for it! Realistically, I don’t think they are looking for something that is 100% theory craft driven… and, it pays well! OK, so not well… but it pays. That’s totally worth the flaming and aggravation, right? 🙂

  • 😀 Thank you both, I appreciate the support! And yes, payment makes trolls more bearable 😛

  • I’d love to apply and spread the Demonology Warlock lovin’ around but I don’t think I could come up with something that good every week lol. I’m notorious for brain farts =X.

You or Fulg or Nibs should totally go for it!

  • @Abi – Awww, I’m sure you’d do fine! I agree that Fulg and Nibuca would be good for the column, definitely. And… um.. I did go for it… so we’ll see… >.> I might be fine if (and only if) Fulg and/or Nibs *don’t* apply for it.

Sidenote – I still think Saresa would be great for it too, but it sounds like the full-time job would make it difficult. We certainly need someone and have it be a regular column again!

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom (Darcy/Syrana) and Dad (Brian/Sideshow) have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
