Sideshow & Syrana

Ok, admittedly, I have recently succumbed to the Facebook gaming craze.  I suppose that makes this video that much more hilarious to me.  Anywho, if you have not seen this yet (thanks to @mikeschramm for tweeting this the other day, which is how I found it!), I suggest you watch it for a good laugh.

This video by Wowcrendor is hilarious.  It was featured on WoW.com recently, so many of you may have already watched it.  If not, check it out!

So tonight, I’m super stoked to be seeing Trivium in concert.  This will be our second time seeing them.  The first time was about 2 years ago for Family Values Tour 2007.  It was a day of awesome bands, but a large-ish outdoor venue.  I didn’t get to be very close.

Tonight, however, will be in a smaller venue.  The energy will be high and palpable.

The best thing of it all though? We get to meet the band after the show.  I shall try not to swoon too much over @Matthewkheafy… *ahem* (Yes, I follow him. )

So, I will MOST DEFINITELY be posting a review of tonight’s concert and meet ‘n greet… along with any pics I’m able to get.

TRIVIUM – THROES OF PERDITION (DIRECTOR’S CUT)

Keeping with the recent theme of BlizzCon posts (and with more to come!)…

Sideshow and I got to hang out with him post video antics.  I don’t know about you, but videos of people falling are hilarious.

But, they are even more hilarious when you know the person.  Enjoy!

So… we don’t have any “fresh off the cam” videos to share, but this one has not been featured on the blog yet.  I love Metallica, but please… a fair warning… the lyrics get a little butchered.  But! It’s all in classic BBV style that is still good, wholesome fun.

Also, it is one of the first.  I think I’ve presented the videos in a backwards progression… this is back when we had worse lighting issues (we’re amateurs, what can I say?), the voxman was not very loose in front of the camera, and Sideshow is in it!

We were going to make a new video the other weekend; however, Sideshow couldn’t find the charger for the video camera and it was dead.  D. E. A. D.

I really can’t begin to describe what you are about to see.  This video is the crown jewel, the cream of the crop, the best of the best of the Rock Band videos we have with our good ol’ friend here.

I seriously thought I was going to die laughing and almost had to leave the house.  You might even be able to hear me laughing and gasping for breath.

The best stuff of this video is actually near the end, that’s where you will hear the murloc.

Our third post ever (well, Sideshow’s second post, the site’s third post) featured a video of a friend that plays Rock Band with us.  Today, I’d like to share another one of these gems with you all.  We have too much fun making these, I think.  Although, it’s been quite a few months since we’ve made one.  We’re about due.

And, yes, ladies, we know him in real life.  I could hook ya up. *waggles eyebrows*

Ran across this video at YouTube. The man in question is George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of the band Cannibal Corpse. The guy loves his WoW and the Horde. He’s not shy about letting you know that. Warning to you Alliance players, I don’t think he likes you. He does get to speak his mind on the subject due to the fact that he has a character named after him. (NSFW Language)

We here at D&B play a little game called Rock Band. We’ve enjoyed these games since we ran across Guitar Hero II a few years back. We transitioned into Rock Band thanks to Darcy’s parents Xmas present. I’ve grown into the drums (which I’m loving) while she loves to sing (and she does it well.)

We have a friend whom I work with who is eccentric and..strange, in a good way. He loves to dress-up like a freak and sing really bad. He knows this, but he really enjoys it. He feeds off of the attention he gets at work from my other co-workers, etc. We happened to make one video with him singing and me drumming, hoping to get a few hits and to show people his singing. Well, the videos took off once I released the raw footage videos of him singing these songs. Everyone loves them and he loves to do them (for some reason.)

Below you can see one of his first raw video attempts (Sabotage by the Beastie Boys), probably the one that sparked the first big laughs..enjoy. The rest can be seen here in this playlist. He has done a few more since this one that are comedy gold. Gold, I tell ya!
