*Almost* the perfect candy.
*Almost* the perfect candy.

As some of you may (or may not) know, at one time I was our guild's social event extraordinaire.  Well, that's not to say I'm completely out of that job… just… I'm not as active in WoW as I once was now that Aion has caught my eye.  But! I still know how to throw a par-tay.

So if you are looking for some guild event ideas in order to kick back and relax, socialize, or otherwise take a break from whatever your current grind may be, take a gander at the list below.  I'm purposely leaving them vague in order to let your imaginations and creativity expand upon them.  Sometimes all we need is a little idea nudge.  Without further adieu:

Hallow's Endjackolantern

-Masquerade Ball (can be as simple or extravagant as you want to make it)

-Costume contests (have fun with your categories!)

-Find the Hooligan (stash a player somewhere, make up a story about how they ganked your pumpkin bucket and hunt 'em down!)

-Hide ‘n Seek

-Ghost stories

-Trick or Treating (using the game's candy buckets)

-Player set up trick or treating (use those wands for nasty tricks!)

Day of the Deadskeleton

-Roll level 1 undead characters and march into Southshore (trust me, this can be highly entertaining)

-Spend the entire day as a skeleton (use wands and noggenfogger and see how far you can take it)

-Tour the cemeteries

-Use those level 1's to discover who is King of the Cemetery

Welcome

We are a family of gamers. Mom (Darcy/Syrana) and Dad (Brian/Sideshow) have been gaming for as long as they can remember back when you only had a joystick to use and saved your games to cassette tapes.

They've been gaming together since they met in 2002. Sometime after 2006, they both started playing World of Warcraft and did that for many years. They started this blog, originally called Sideshow & Syrana which has now transitioned to the new Stay-At-Home Gamers site, while keeping all of the original content.

Starting in 2010, two more gamers came along (now known as Princess Boo and Mr. X) and they are now old enough where they both enjoy playing games and watching others play games. They are both excited to have others to watch them play their favorite games. Come along with us and let's enjoy these games together!
